On 20th March 2005 Monica and Simeon carried out a salsa workshop at the American University in Bulgaria, Blagoevgrad, at the invitation of the local Latino dance club. Founder of the club is Boriana Atanasova – a former student at the STREETSALSEROS Club.

 

The program featured four hours, split in two blocks, in which Moni and his partner taught salsa to more than 50 AUBG students. After quickly learning the basic moves of the Casino de Rueda style the AUBG “Latinos” learned the basic L.A. Style moves.

 

At the after-party the instructors did a presentation and after that all present enjoyed with the learned material.

 

Dancers from the Arion Club, Blagoevgrad also participated in the workshop with samba, rumba and cha-cha-cha.
